SECTION 1: TWO-WEEKLY CALL ROTA
WEEK 1
Monday – Friday:
Call 1: 08:45 – 09:45 (Morning)
Call 2: 15:30 – 17:00 (Tea Time)
Call 3: 17:30 – 19:00 (Mon/Tue) OR 19:00 – 19:30 (Wed/Fri) (Bedtime)
Saturday – Sunday:
6 Calls: 08:45, 10:30, 12:15, 14:00, 15:45, 17:30.
WEEK 2
Monday – Thursday: Same as Week 1.
Friday: Bedtime call is earlier (17:30 – 19:00).
Saturday – Sunday:
Call 1: 08:45 – 09:45 (Morning)
Call 2: 10:45 – 11:45 (Mid-morning Check/Domestic)

SECTION 2: MORNING WAKE-UP & HYGIENE (08:45 – 09:45)
Arrival: Turn off the Alexa alarm. Greet Estrianna warmly. Tell her you are happy to see her and remind her she is going to the Day Centre.
Spiritual: Prompt Estrianna to say her morning prayer while you prepare the shower room.
Transfer: Use the four-wheeled seat to move her to the shower room.
Toileting: Assist her onto the toilet to relieve herself.
Showering: Undress her and provide a full shower. MANDATORY: Use a clean, separate flannel for her hygiene wash (down below).
Drying: Dry her thoroughly and cover her with her dressing gown.
Skin Care: * Apply hip cream to her left hip and massage in.
Apply moisturizer to her whole body (focus on feet and back of legs).
Use a cotton bud to apply face oil.
Breakfast & Meds: Prepare breakfast. Sit and engage with her while she eats.
Retrieve the medication carousel from the kitchen cupboard.
Ensure all morning tablets are swallowed.
Crucial: Place the carousel into the pouch of her three-wheeled walker for the Day Centre.
Departure: Apply eye drops to both eyes. Help her into her hat and coat. Leave her seated safely to await her transport.

SECTION 3: TEA TIME CALL (15:30 – 17:00)
1. IMMEDIATE TOILETING
Upon arrival and greeting Estrianna as she returns from the Day Centre, take her to the toilet immediately to ensure her comfort and hygiene.
2. MEDICATION RETRIEVAL
Immediately remove the medication carousel from the pouch of her three-wheeled walker and return it to its safe place in the kitchen cupboard.
3. MEAL PREPARATION & NUTRITION
Main Meal: Prepare and serve Estrianna's main meal.
Dessert: Offer and serve either a piece of fruit or a yoghurt.
Hydration: Prepare a drink based on her preference (hot tea/coffee or a cold juice/water).
Engagement: Sit with Estrianna while she eats. Engage in meaningful conversation to encourage her appetite and social wellbeing.

SECTION 4: BEDTIME CALL (EVENING) 17.30-19.00
1. DOMESTIC & DEMENTIA SUPPORT
Engagement: Ask Estrianna to assist you in separating her clothes into piles ready for the laundry.
Dementia Aids: Use the aids available in the property to keep her mentally active and calm.
Bedding: Change her bed clothes to ensure the bed is fresh and clean.
2. THE "SONGS OF PRAISE" RITUAL
30 minutes before bed, open BBC iPlayer on the TV/Device.
Find and play an episode of Songs of Praise. This is a vital part of her routine; allow her the full 30 minutes to watch and enjoy this.
3. MEDICATION
Administer the final tablets of the day from the carousel. Ensure they are swallowed.
4. PERSONAL CARE & HYGIENE
Toileting: Assist Estrianna to the toilet.
Wash: Provide a thorough hygiene wash with separate flannel.
INCONTINENCE CARE: Change Estrianna’s incontinence underwear at every bedtime call. This is mandatory for her comfort and skin integrity.
Dress: Help her into her pajamas/nightwear.
5. SETTLING
Assist Estrianna into bed. Ensure her walker is within reach also her commode is placed in the correct position for use at nighttime. Check that the Alexa volume is set for her morning alarm.

SECTION 5: WEEKEND ACTIVITIES (WEEK 1 SPECIFIC)
Social Preference: Estrianna enjoys looking out of the window. Ensure her chair is positioned to allow this.
Domestic Activity: She finds purpose in washing her dishes. Set up the sink for her and allow her to assist with this task during the 14.00 or afternoon calls.
Domestic Activity: She finds purpose in wiping down her surfaces and ensuring all clothing and bedding are folded and put away in the correct place.
Checks: The 10:30, 14:00, and 15:45 calls should be used for toileting, domestic tidying, and companionship.
Five a Day: fruit will always be available in the house for you to cut up and portion out ready for Estrianna.
